In November 2010, Vietnam imported 2.4 billion U.S. dollars in textiles and leather

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of Vietnam, the amount of raw materials for textiles, leather and footwear imported from Vietnam in the first 11 months (2010) amounted to US$2.4 billion, a growth of 36.3% over the same period of the previous year, and accounted for 11 months of last year in Vietnam. The total amount of imports was 3.1%, of which the amount of imports in November last year was US$ 254 million, a growth of 32.7% over the same period of the previous year.

The main source of raw materials for textiles, leather, and footwear imported from Vietnam in the first 11 months of last year was mainland China, with an import amount of US$603.6 million, a 67.9% increase over the same period of the previous year, and accounted for Vietnam’s imports of products for the first 11 months of last year. 25.4% of the total amount, followed by South Korea, the import amount of 402.60 million US dollars, an increase of 20.5% over the same period the previous year, and accounted for 17.7% of the total amount of imports of products listed in Vietnam in the first 11 months of last year.

The amount of imports from Vietnam for the first 11 months last year showed a substantial increase over the same period of the previous year, including Australia ($26.8 million), Denmark ($3 million), Canada ($89 million), the United States ($14.2 million), and China. Mainland China (US$ 604 million), with growth values ​​of 211.8%, 146%, 127.9%, 121.8%, and 67.9%, respectively.
